In addition to completing all the sections labeled as "incomplete" in the tables above, there are various features goals to aspire for an optimal yield of The Salem Wiki so that it can be a real encyclopedia about WGN A Salem offering a wide range of information that comply tiers of canon.
Comprehensive revision of episode page so that the layout is identical and not with inverted sections or with different positions within the article.
Comprehensive revision of characters page so that the layout is identical and not with inverted sections or with different positions within the article (especially Recurring characters).
Comprehensive revision of Relationships pages so that the layout is identical and not with inverted sections or with different positions within the article. Ensure that the content is exposed properly.
Review of all articles looking for any typos, tenses, and syntax in general and correct them.
Rename image files currently named with nonsense (eg. R000005660d0.png) to be replaced with an appropriate name to what the image represents (eg. Cotton Mather wielding a sword.png).
Promo Stills illustrating all episodes, characters, and locations.
Categorize each image depending on what they represent (eg. Images of Mary Sibley; Images of The Malum; Episode images with sub categories depending on the individual episode. Eg. Images of The Vow). Categories should nevertheless be approved by an admin or an active user as they are aware of any similar or identical category which would result in double categories. Remember that categories serve to substantially skim the content, too many categories or categories that incorporate little or no related subjects makes useless the purpose of categorization.
A comprehensive renovation and expansion of Article stubs.
Take a look at Wanted Pages, making sure to insert rightly wanted pages. Some red links are incorrect redirects (eg. Episode template). Make sure you ask for advice to an admin if you are unsure.
Expand Crew pages according to the preferred format, particularly a picture for the infobox and list of episodes that have written and/or directed.
Structure Revisions
As a result of various conversations between active users of The Salem Wiki, it was decided to update the way Powers' pages are structured according to the following guidelines.
Renaming pages with Sci-terminology and replacing them with terms specifically mentioned on the show (i.e Dream Walking, Glamour, Blooming). Using canon names as a basis for naming unidentified powers, remaining true to the show's context.
Merging pages that deal with similar or identical topics, having a detailed page instead of several pages with little to no content, partially identical to each other.
When an ability is nothing more than an advanced form or a particularity of pre-existing power, it will be sufficient to expand the description instead of creating a whole page, which will inevitably be a poorly formatted duplicate with little to no content as the main topic is already analyzed on another page (i.e. Cup of Venus is a particular form of Divination; Breaking glasses or bones is just a way of using Telekinesis; inducing a temporary paralysis is just a form of using Puppetry).
Elemental Control subpages will most likely be merged into the main page, with tabs separating the four elements in the descriptive section.
