Treasurer Putnam was one of respectable citizens of Salem, and a member of the Puritan selectmen with a biased view towards the refugees.

Putnam is a character in the third season of Salem, portrayed by Jonny Coyne.


Personality[]

Putnam was a politician with firm convictions, a closed mind, and strict morality. His primary interest was to safeguard his own interests, without showing charity to the needy and the poor. Putnam was also racist towards the neighboring indigenous tribes.

Physical Appearance[]

Putnam was a middle-aged man of low stature, and slightly overweight. Putnam was bald, with hazel eyes, and a stiff gait. His fine clothes were all black, as befitted to a Puritan selectman.
